WHERE DO I GO WITH QUESTIONS?
Information is available here, on the website, or via Instagram, X, and Facebook. Also, Internal communication and organization is communicated through Team Snap. If you can't find the answer to your question through these resources, please see the 'contact page' and find the board member that corresponds with the content of your question and reach out via Team Snap or the e-mail address under 'Contact.' All on-ice and roster related questions should be handled by the coach, preferably between the player and the coach.
WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF PLAY FOR HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY?
High School hockey includes players from recreational leagues to tier 1, AAA players. Plant usually fields a varsity and junior varsity team. All on-ice activity and team placement is solely managed by the coaches.
WHAT ARE THE FEES FOR FALL HOCKEY?
Participants of Plant Hockey must pay two separate fees. One to the LHSHL, and one to Plant Hockey. The LHSHL fee for 2023-2024 season was $1200/$1000 (varsity/JV). This pays for both game and practice ice, referees, the LHSHL website, and administration.
The Plant Hockey fee varies depending on team, and is allocated toward coaches fees, senior events, the alumni game, and team equipment. Each player will also pay, additionally, for the required uniforms.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PLANT HOCKEY BOARD?
The Plant Hockey organization is governed by a board of elected representatives. They are responsible for off-ice duties such as administrative work, fundraising efforts, and communication with LHSHL and parents. See contact page for the board members names, respective roles, and contact information.
